Rajais, mulmul, and the art of the layered bed
In Jaipur, the bed is a landscape—quilted layers you peel back as the night cools and the desert morning warms.
Jaipur bedrooms understand layering. A light sheet for warm months, a quilted cover when the desert night turns crisp, pillowcases that match not because a set demanded it but because the prints were chosen over time.
Local rajais—cotton quilts with running stitch—taught us how weight should feel: substantial enough to settle you, never stiff. Our duvet sets echo that logic: breathable cotton, block-print shells, sham pairs that mix rather than match aggressively.
The kantha stitch appears in our imagery and finishing details as a nod to cross-regional craft—Rajasthan meets Bengal in the studio, on the bed, in your home.
